The last few leaves hanging on, the quickly fading light of fall, Pennypacker Park in Haddonfield has a long ivy trail with a lake, the fading orange leaves all made for the perfect backdrop for Alexis’s senior portraits. Alexis and I meet last spring during her family’s portrait session, after their family pictures, they knew they wanted a different kind of senior picture.
Alexis wore a beautiful rust orange sweater, jeans, and knee high boots.
She even let me try a new firefly look in pictures and laughed at me the whole time, while I tried to get the perfect look.
I’m looking forward to Alexis’ next winter, snowy themed session.
Senior year is an exciting time in anyone’s high school career. What were the things you look forward to the most in high school? The Friday night football games, hanging out with your friends on the weekends, the senior trip, prom, and above all graduation day! That is exactly what Renae is doing this year; along with looking stunning in her senior portraits. Renae’s maroon sweater and cream lace skirt stood out against the orange, brown, and green leaves. Fall was a great time to take her pictures, the colors of the leaves made for a beautiful and colorful background.
The old Slim’s Ranch gave us the hiking trails with the wooded feel, while open field showed us the meadow and openness that Renae loves; all with the colorful leaves of fall.
Renae is an honor student, volunteer, and the captain of the soccer team.

Mickey Paradiso’s senior portraits taken at Washington Township Lake park.
Starting your senior year of high school is exciting, there are so many things that you get to look forward to, that you are finally able to partake in. Senior trip, the senior prom, and a great day for everyone in the family, graduation day. Senior portraits are part of the fun of senior year, families hold on to them for a lifetime. I had a great time hanging out with Mickey during her session, we went to Washington Township Lake Park. The day we were shooting there was a charity race going on, dodging some of the walkers on our way to where we wanted to shoot started our session off in an interesting way.
The morning was chilly and Mickey was in a super cute army green dress. We started off the picture taking portion in front of the beautiful fall colors that were reflecting off the lake, before we moved into a little gazebo.
Mickey has played soccer pretty much her whole life, she played her last year of high school soccer this year. Senior night was a few games away and we wanted to capture her fashion style with her love of soccer.

Every school has there own way of celebrating being back at school for another year. Once a year in the fall, high schools and colleges, alike, come together for the homecoming football game. High schools typically have a dance the following night to find out who the homecoming king and queen are. One school in my area does a semi formal dance, and the girls dress up in cocktail dresses and the boys in suits.
This year, I had the pleasure of working with one of the seniors from the local high school. Renae is always fun to work with, and this session was no different. She wanted to go somewhere that meant a lot to her and had great scenery. We decided on Gloucester Township Park where she played soccer growing up and is still does for her club team.
Renae was a trooper, it was cold and windy, but you would never know from the pictures.
Renae had two of her friends do her hair and makeup, which came out beautifully.
